“Beautiful location, sea views from living room and bedroom windows. Visited in November so too cold to sit outside but garden also has views of the sea. Sharon was very quick to respond to a question we had, even though it was later in the evening. Barmouth was lovely, would recommend The Mermaid for fish and chips.” – Jenna
“Just had a fantastic 3 night stay at Sharon’s house, what a wonderful place to stay, so cosy. Clearly a lot of time and effort has been spent on the house, it had everything we needed, in a great location for Barmouth and surrounding area including the beach. After a day of exploring, returning to the log burner was perfect. Sharon was there if we needed her with quick replies. Giving us the heads up that the dolphins were visiting was brilliant! The 4 of us watched them from the top bedroom window one morning….an incredible memory for our family. Love this place, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will definitely stay again!” – Matt
“We had a great weekend at this cosy seaside cottage! Perfect spot just outside Barmouth with beautiful views of the sea. Cosy and quirky, the house was well equipped and full of character. We had amazing weather for October and made the most of the many walking trails on the hills behind the house and loved Barmouth with all its eateries and shops. Would definitely come back! “Our second time staying here (stayed last September during heatwave) and was as cosy, welcoming and homely as last time but even more-so with the colder weather this time of year!!! We LOVE this cottage- makes a perfect base to visit Barmouth. We had a lovely walk with the dog up the top of the hill behind us with fantastic views. Perfect to wind down here and watch the panoramic sea views for miles! Super comfy beds, lovely shower and warm throughout the storm!” – Becky
“I booked this from Australia as coming to celebrate a special birthday with my mum and son. Sharon was amazing at communicating from booking. The cottage was supplied with a few extra goodies , plenty of firewood and just had a very special feel – highly recommend.” – Heather
“Wonderrful place ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of Barmouth but close enough to enjoy all Barmouth has to offer. Clean,comfy beds and wonderful shower, well appointed kitchen and cosy lounge. Outside sitting area with bbq although the weather wasnt good enough for us to enjoy. Highly recomended. Walk round to the Bay View Inn – Fabulous food and beers and dog friendly even when eating with an outside terrace when the sun shines – less than 10 minutes walk away, an opportunity to leave the car when going out.” – Matthew
“My husband and I brought along our little dog and the three of us had the best time! The pictures don’t even do it justice. The views were spectacular (make sure you watch the sunset on the upper patio… stunning). The place was incredibly comfortable, it felt like home. We had everything we needed and more. We’re already discussing how much we’d love to come back, we highly recommend it! PS if you’re a seafood lover and want a restaurant in walking distance, check out Norbar.” – Coralie
